What would you pay to breathe the same air as your favorite reality stars? According to superfans of Bravo, the sky’s the limit.
As I joined about 30,000 attendees and 160 Bravo stars — also known as Bravolebs — who flocked to Las Vegas on Nov. 14 for three days of BravoCon 2025, I wondered how much it must have cost to live out this reality TV dream. There was the price of the tickets, traveling to the destination and booking a hotel, of course. But then add in playing the game of “keeping up with the Joneses” to get the best access to the stars (which comes at a premium) and looking the part while doing it.
“We’re competing with Housewives,” Vikki Petersen, a self-proclaimed Bravoholic from Orange County, Calif., tells Yahoo. “We’ve got to dress to impress. You have to bring out the good bags, hair done, makeup decked. And that’s kind of what we’ve done.”
So, what did that cost both Petersen and her fellow Bravo fan friend? Here, the pair join five others around Caesars Forum in giving a peek at their BravoCon receipts — one of which is just over $9,000.
A bestie bonding trip
This is the third year that Petersen, 55, and her best friend, Kathy Campos, have turned a Bravo event into a girls’ trip. They attended BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas and Bravo Fan Fest 2024, which took place in Miami. Returning to Vegas for BravoCon 2025 was a no-brainer for them, whatever the cost.
“We don’t budget. We know we’re gonna drop some money” planning these weekends, says Petersen. “[We paid] probably close to $4,000 [each]. And we’re gonna do it again.”
Total cost: About $3,315 each
BravoCon 3-day tickets: $700 each
Petersen and Campos paid a total of $1,400 for two general admission tickets. But they say they would have paid more. “I tried to get VIP,” says Petersen. “I was super disappointed we didn’t get that.”
BravoCon Live events: $440 each
There are nightly BravoCon Live events by Bravo host and executive producer Andy Cohen that come at an extra cost. Petersen and Campos attended two of those, at $220 per ticket. “We go to as many of the evening events as we can, but they sell out so quickly,” says Petersen.
Transportation: $575 each
“It’s not super expensive to fly because we’re so close,” Campos tells Yahoo. Their round-trip flights were $500 each. In Las Vegas, they spent about $150 on Uber charges.
Hotel: $450 each
The pair shared a room at the nearby Harrah’s Las Vegas, where they could walk to and from BravoCon each day. “That was the big sell on that,” says Petersen.
Merch: $400 each
They both splurged on merchandise, as they’ve done at previous Bravo events. “I bought a Bravo jean jacket for $120 last year in Miami,” says Petersen. “But then you see new merch that you have to buy.”
Food and misc.: $750 each
The price of meals at BravoCon was a point of contention for them. “The cost of the food in there is outrageous. It’s like a sandwich for $25,” says Petersen. “You would rather be without food and get a sweatshirt for $80.”
They spent only what they had to on food and drinks at the convention, and then treated themselves to meals at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. The duo also attended a show at the Sphere, which cost them $250 each.
It all was “1,000% worth it,” says Petersen.
First-timers willing to spend more
Margaret Lawson, 43, and Jordan, 29, are longtime Bravo fans but first-time BravoCon attendees. They thought they were spending conservatively by only purchasing general admission tickets for their first trip to the convention. “We didn’t do any of the extra add-ons, and we still had an amazing time,” Lawson tells Yahoo. “Next year, we’re gonna try to save up so we can book [more].”
Total cost: About $3,100 each
BravoCon 3-day tickets: $700 each
Although the women didn’t pay for any add-on events or experiences, they were happy with the access they had to photo booths, panels and the few surprise meetups that stars held for free in the Bravo Bazaar.
Transportation: $900 each
The friends flew together from New Jersey to Las Vegas.
Hotel: $500 each
“We budgeted where we could,” says Lawson. “We stayed at the Flamingo, which was conveniently located and not expensive at all. You’ve gotta balance it and use your money where you want.”
Merch: About $1,000 each
They both wanted to spend their money on Bravo-related merch. “I spent $220 just on pajamas today, and then another $170 on sweatshirts for my kids,” says Lawson. She also bought a pair of pink sunglasses inspired by The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Angie Katsanevas for $300.
Before the weekend even began, Lawson spent $85 on a unicorn stuffed animal to match the one owned by RHOSLC’s Britani Bateman. “I did it online, and it was $30 for rush delivery. But she’s been the star of the convention. Worth it,” says Lawson.
Food and misc.: Didn’t keep track
What they didn’t tally was their additional food spending. However, they opted for easy, more affordable options like In-N-Out Burger.
Mother-daughter Bravo fans
Lexie Kornemann and her mom also went to BravoCon 2025 as first-timers. The daughter of the duo documented their experience on her TikTok, sharing the highs and lows of the three days.
Total cost: $4,485
BravoCon 3-day tickets: $1,400
“If I do go back, I don’t plan on doing a three-day general admission ticket. I’d consider maybe one day VIP or the nighttime add-on shows Andy [Cohen] does,” Kornemann tells Yahoo. “It was extremely hectic every single day, and there was no way of knowing [which Bravolebs] would be where unless they were on a panel.” She did get to meet some stars walking around the convention floor. But “it was strictly luck,” she says.
Transportation: $1,060
The bulk of their travel expenses came from round-trip flights from South Carolina, which cost about $500 each. Uber charges to get around Las Vegas were minimal.
Hotel: $900
Food: $1,125
“The food was insanely expensive,” says Kornemann.
Big spender for a bucket list moment
The weekend was particularly special for Ann Owens. After three years of attempting to go to BravoCon, she finally scored her first ticket, and she wasn’t holding back on her budget.
Total cost: $9,100
BravoCon 1-day ticket and add-on event: $1,400
Owens paid $400 for a one-day general admission ticket for the final day of BravoCon. But she and her husband attended the Bravos, an awards show hosted by Cohen on Friday evening. The tickets for that were separate and cost the couple $1,000.
“I got really good tickets for it, so I was really close to the celebrities,” Owens tells Yahoo.
Transportation and hotel: $3,000
Owens and her husband flew in to Las Vegas from Kansas City, Mo., on Friday and stayed until Monday. Their round-trip flights and three-night hotel stay totaled $2,500. An additional $500 was spent on car transportation throughout the weekend.
Outfits: $2,500
“I got more than four outfits for the events. I spent a lot of money,” says Owens, who wore a sequined gown with feather details to the Bravos and a fuchsia dress to the convention. She says her priority was to look and feel her best.
Hair and makeup: $1,500
Owens did her own hair and makeup for the Bravo-related events, but splurged on the products she used, including multiple wigs that she styled differently for each day. She also wore glittery eye shadow with dramatic fake eyelashes.
Food and misc.: $700
Owens spent $138 on food and drinks at BravoCon on Sunday alone, demonstrating the high cost of concessions there. What she didn’t spend money on, however, was merch.
She was carrying a lot of bags around the event, but says she only paid for one product: a bath bomb from RHOSLC’s Whitney Rose’s brand, Wild Rose Beauty. All the rest were free giveaways.
“It’s been more than worth it — it’s been amazing,” says Owens, who watches all of the Real Housewives franchises. She was particularly excited about snagging a photo with her favorite Bravoleb, Teresa Giudice. “The experience is amazing, and getting to see the people I wanted to see. I have been so lucky.”
